John Chaisson contributes valuable expertise to the TGAIA design team, as a field technician and construction specialist. John's background includes 4 years of honorable service as a United States Navy Electrician, as well as several years of hands-on experience in diverse construction trades (metal studs, drywall, masonry, stucco, steel roof trusses, acoustical celings, insulation, etc).

John's current career as a building consultant gives him the opportunity to investigate, review and document the conditions of existing and newly constructed projects with a keen eye. For the numerous TGAIA design projects that involve renovation or expansion of existing structures, John provides reliable field documentation of existing conditions, as the foundation for new
design work.

For TGAIA projects under construction (whether new, renovated or expanded), John provides expert observation and documentation of the quality and progress of the work. John is thoroughly knowledgeable of contracting procedures, including payment applications, lien releases, insurance requirements, etc., and can serve as the architect's field representative, or as the owner's direct
project representative.

• United States Navy 1985 - 1985, Electrician. Honorable Discharge
• Certified ITA home inspector
• Certified ITA mold inspector
• Certified Environment Solutions Agency inspector
• Multi-disciplinary experience in numerous construction trades.
